Just yesterday, we got another phone call from one of our customers.  “My watch doesn’t open, I got the wrong one”.  “No, we say, all HourPower watches open, let us help you”.

Patiently, our account coordinator, Marie, explains that you lift the small spiral tab at the base of the watch, opening it like a compact. Then we hear an “Ah-Ha, this is really easy”, at the other end of the line.  As their eyes gaze on the engraving that was ordered, we hear another positive sound letting us know our unique locket watch is a hit.

Just to make sure, Marie continues her explanation showing how to open the hidden chamber from the back to insert a picture. “Ooh”, says the phone call, “this is such a neat construction.”

We agree and we’re always happy to help.

The engraving said, “To Daddy, The First Man I Ever Loved”. It also included a picture of his adorable little baby named Zoey. Her Dad, Kevin, was simply blown away with this touching gift at the birth of his first child.

He couldn’t stop beaming and opening his little treasure that carried his heart. He was so touched that he wrote us an email to tell us about it. He said that this was a long awaited baby and that he took a month off from work to bond and help take care of their infant along with his wife. It was a wonderful and sweet and sleepless time for both of them.

Going back to work was very hard for him. He missed seeing the baby and holding her and being together with both of his girls. However, the second he opened the gift from his wife, and put the HourPower® watch on his wrist he felt better. He didn’t exactly know why, he just knew he was connected to the special miracle of his baby.

It is so confirming to know that you are part of something more than yourself. It is so charming to be a closet sentimentalist with the secret chamber of his watch. Kevin is a happy man.
