A Little Advice for the Young Bride
The sun is shining out my window and my thoughts are drifting to the summer and happy days. These billowing memories take me back to a wonderful young couple that got married on just such a beautiful day.
They wanted everything to be perfect for their special day and were going crazy trying to attend to every detail. I bumped into them at the jewelry store and could tell their noticeable anxiety.
We started up a lovely conversation about what is important for a wedding. And, I urged them to understand that it was the memories of happy times, loving family and friends, heartfelt good wishes and making sure that you could access them forever. They noted my HourPower® locket watch on my wrist and I showed them how it opened to a picture and cherished words. My face got full of smiles and light as I talked about my children in the picture and how I gazed at them whenever I needed a quiet moment in my busy day.
The groom got the connection immediately. He asked his bride to give him something that would remind him of her beauty and love all the time. Together, they picked out just the right style of HourPower® watch and have kept it as an heirloom piece to be treasured and enjoyed always.
