One mother's story...

No mother-to-be expects anything to go wrong. I sure wasn't. I wasn't expecting to carry twins. I wasn't expecting to hear that one of my babies would die at birth — or that my other baby would have to fight for her life. When expecting, all moms dream of a healthy baby.

We said goodbye to little Annabelle without ever saying hello. Sweet Isabelle shared 10 special months with us. As hard as each hour was, I wouldn't trade a minute.

After Isabelle died, we found the March of Dimes. We don't want any other family to face these tragedies of premature birth, birth defects, and infant death. Volunteering gives me the priceless, timeless gifts of hope and healing.

I found this wonderful watch just before a big March of Dimes speech. Holding Isabelle secretly on my wrist gives me such strength. "Faith in Angels" is my first HourPower moment.
